Dinner Plans respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Dinner Plans mobile application handles information when you use the app.
Dinner Plans is designed to provide dinner planning, recipe, pantry, shopping, restaurant discovery, grocery reminder, and related features without requiring you to create an account.
Dinner Plans does not require you to create an account and does not operate a developer-owned service that collects your pantry, meal-planning, shopping-list, or dinner-history information.
Dinner Plans does not sell your personal information.
The app may request access to certain device features when necessary to provide functionality you choose to use, as described below.
Information you enter or generate within Dinner Plans, such as:
is stored locally on your device using Apple's native storage technologies.
Dinner Plans does not operate an external account or cloud database for storing this information.
Removing the app may result in the loss of locally stored Dinner Plans data unless that information is otherwise preserved by Apple's device backup or restoration services.
Dinner Plans may request access to your device's location to provide location-based features, including:
Dinner Plans only requests location permissions needed for the features you choose to use.
Location-related requests may be processed by Apple services, including MapKit and Apple Maps, subject to Apple's own privacy practices.
Dinner Plans does not operate a server that stores or tracks your location history.
You can change Dinner Plans' location permissions at any time through your device's Settings.
Dinner Plans may request permission to send notifications.
Notifications can be used for features such as scheduled grocery reminders and reminders associated with grocery-store locations selected by you.
You control whether notifications are permitted and may change notification permissions through your device's Settings.
Dinner Plans includes a Dinner Vote feature that allows nearby users to participate in a temporary dinner vote.
This feature may use Apple's local peer-to-peer networking technologies to communicate with nearby participating devices.
Dinner Plans does not require an online account or developer-operated server to conduct these votes.
Local network access is used only when necessary to provide nearby-device functionality initiated by the user.
Dinner Plans may offer a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase called Dinner Plans Full.
Purchases and purchase restoration are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit services.
Dinner Plans does not directly receive or store your payment-card information, Apple ID password, or other App Store payment credentials.
Purchase information necessary to determine whether Dinner Plans Full has been purchased may be provided through Apple's StoreKit services.
Apple's handling of App Store transactions is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
Dinner Plans uses Apple technologies and services such as MapKit, Apple Maps, StoreKit, notifications, location services, and local networking to provide certain features.
Information processed by those services is subject to Apple's applicable privacy policies and terms.
Dinner Plans does not control Apple's independent processing of information through those services.
Dinner Plans does not contain third-party advertising.
Dinner Plans does not use your information for cross-app or cross-website advertising tracking.
Dinner Plans does not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
Dinner Plans does not operate its own third-party analytics or behavioral-tracking system for monitoring individual users.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store, TestFlight, diagnostic, crash, or performance information through Apple's developer services, subject to Apple's privacy practices and the settings available on your device.
Recipe, ingredient, serving, preparation-time, cooking-time, and nutrition information provided by Dinner Plans is intended for general informational and planning purposes.
Nutrition values may be estimates and should not be considered medical or professional dietary advice.
Users with food allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions, medical dietary requirements, or other food-related concerns should independently verify ingredients and nutritional information before preparing or consuming food.
Restaurant, grocery-store, business-location, and navigation information may be supplied through Apple Maps and related Apple services.
Business information, availability, operating hours, locations, directions, and other details may change.
Users are responsible for confirming information before making purchasing, dining, or travel decisions.
Dinner Plans is a general-audience dinner-planning application and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
Because Dinner Plans does not require user accounts or operate a developer-owned system for collecting users' personal information, we do not knowingly maintain a database of children's personal information.
Dinner Plans does not sell or rent your personal information.
Dinner Plans does not operate a developer-controlled backend that shares your pantry, planner, shopping-list, or dinner-history information with advertisers or data brokers.
Information may be processed by Apple when you use Apple-provided services integrated into Dinner Plans, such as Maps, location services, notifications, StoreKit, or TestFlight.
Information stored locally by Dinner Plans remains on your device until it is removed through the app, removed as part of normal app operation, or deleted when the app or its associated local data is removed.
Because Dinner Plans does not maintain user accounts or a developer-operated cloud database containing your locally stored dinner-planning information, there is generally no separate Dinner Plans online account or server-side personal-data record to delete.
Dinner Plans uses Apple's native platform technologies for local application storage and system services.
No method of electronic storage or communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should maintain appropriate security protections on their devices, including device passcodes and current operating-system updates.
You control whether Dinner Plans receives access to features such as location, notifications, and the local network.
These permissions can be reviewed or changed through your device's Settings.
Some Dinner Plans features may not function when the permissions required for those features are disabled.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Dinner Plans evolves, Apple platform requirements change, or new functionality is introduced.
When material changes are made, the Last Updated date at the top of this policy will be revised.
