Outzdoors PRIVACY POLICY

NP LLC respects your privacy. OutzDoors is designed to provide outdoor route discovery, nearby exploration, Quest planning, and optional hike recording without requiring an account or storing your personal activity on NP LLC servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

OutzDoors does not require an account or login. NP LLC does not operate servers that collect or store your Saved Quests, Quest History, Hike History, or recorded hike routes. OutzDoors does not include third-party advertising or developer-operated user tracking.

Location Information

OutzDoors uses location services when needed to provide features such as Explore Nearby and when you explicitly choose to record a hike. Location may also be used to support mapping and route-related functionality. Hike recording begins only when you choose to start recording.

Local Data Storage

Saved Quests, Quest History, Hike History, and related app data are stored locally on your device. Some locally stored information may also be included in device backups depending on your Apple device and backup settings.

Apple Maps and MapKit

OutzDoors uses Apple Maps and MapKit for mapping, route calculation, place discovery, directions, and related location services. Information processed through Apple services is subject to Apple's applicable privacy practices and terms.

Hike Recording

When you choose to record a hike, OutzDoors may use your device's GPS and location sensors to calculate information such as route, distance, elapsed time, and elevation. Recorded hike information is stored locally on your device.

Sharing

OutzDoors does not automatically share your Quest or hike information. When you choose to share a Hike Card, you review the card before using the iOS sharing system. What happens after you choose a destination for that shared content is governed by the service or application you select.

In-App Purchases

OutzDoors offers an optional one-time purchase called OutzDoors Full. Purchases and purchase restoration are processed by Apple through the App Store. NP LLC does not receive or store your payment-card information.

Deleting Your Data

OutzDoors provides controls for deleting applicable Saved Quests, Quest History, and Hike History. Removing the app from your device also removes locally stored app data, subject to any device backups maintained through your Apple services.

Children's Privacy

OutzDoors is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children, and NP LLC does not operate an account or server system that collects personal information through the app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when OutzDoors features or privacy practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
